Room mom that is, for both of my kids’ classrooms. Why did I do it to myself? Well I know why, because I’m a control freak and want to be involved even if I don’t have the time and even if I can’t remember to check their school bags! (No really, I’m the worst school mom!) Thankfully I have some awesome co-room moms that keep it together for me, but here’s a big applause to all you room moms out there making things special for your kids when you’re a pajama wearing, frizzy haired, hot mess!
So let’s talk about teacher gifts. So much pressure! You love their teachers and want to get them what they’ll really want and not junk, but also want it to be sentimental because you really, truly can’t thank them enough for shaping your little humans into smarter & better toy sharing versions of themselves! So what do you do?
Well, I have the solution for you. Coco Stine Designs to the rescue! Colleen created this book for me and it’s too good not to share! I simply printed the cover page and then a copy of the second page for each student! They fill out what they love about their teacher and draw a picture for them or glue a picture of themselves to it! After everyone’s are finished I will laminate them and put them all together in a sweet, sentimental little book! Then we give the teachers what they really want; a day at the spa! 😉
